How should I ask my wedding guests to not wear scent to the wedding on my invitations?
Perfumes, colognes (among other objects like smelly candles and room spray) make my cough, sneeze, and feel like someone is squeezing my chest. I've been in church before and had to leave because i was so dizzy from the scent of all the people around me. I am getting married in the same church in June and would like to put a line on the invitations requesting people not wear perfumes or colognes. How should I word this? My mother suggests something like you see in hospitals: "No scents, makes sense" But it seems a little corny for a wedding invitation. I was thinking more along the lines of "We request guests to refrain from wearing scented products due to allergies of the wedding party. "But this seems more like a warning label on something from the drug store. Any ideas?
I would not include it on your invitation, instead Id include a separate card with the invite (it takes away from the elegance of the invite if its on there). Something like "Due to medical reasons limited use of colognes and perfumes would be greatly appreciated "

Go to www.cajuncandles.com they have how to info on their web site and you can also buy your supplies from them. This is how I learnt to make them. But I must warn you unless you can offer something that no one else has this business isn’t the one to be getting into. The economy is so bad right now that people are just not buying at craft shows, flea markets etc. I also have an online store and I get a few orders but its definitely not enough to make extra money for living. If you are only wanting a hobby then go for it. You can also go to www.candletech.com for info. Whatever you do don’t use crayons to dye your wax as it can clog your wicks. You can use literally anything for molds or glassware as long as its heat resistance. You can probably get you a candle kit at AC Moore’s, Joanns, Michaels or Hobby Lobby that will be you a start to see if you really want to do it.
